I.E.M. receives supplier excellence award

Foxboro, Ma. , October. 17, 2011 - Industrial Engineering Mfg. Co. Inc. was recognized for its quality and performance by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems. IEM received a Supplier Excellence Award at a recognition ceremony held at the Wyndham hotel in Andover, Mass. on April 13, 2011.

Raytheon recognizes its suppliers based on three important factors: on-time delivery measures, sustained performance on quality and commitment to continuous process and quality improvement.

"Our precision sheet metal and machining will provide an unprecedented level of technological capability for this ship," said IEM's CEO "Ultimately; these complex welded assemblies will help protect the brave men and women of the United States Military."

IEM's role in the Patriot and Aegis programs dates back to 1991when the company started from a group of workers with many years of experience in the precision sheet metal and machining industry. Complex welded and spot welded assemblies are an important part of these programs and IEM delivers a quality product on time. Making sure the war fighters of the United States have what they need to keep our country safe.

IEM, with 2010 sales of 2.5 million, is dedicated to delivering a quality product on time every time. Since 1991, IEM has provided simple sheet metal to complex welded and machined chassis to Raytheon.
